How do you take measurements for your dog's coat?
When buying a coat for your dog the main measurements you need are:
- neck circumference,
-chest circumference
- length between the base of the neck (almost between the shoulder blades) and the point just before where the tail attaches to the bottom.
To take measurements it is preferable to have a tape measure, or if you don't have one available you can take the measurements with a tape and then transfer them to a ruler (with the tape measure you risk fewer errors). Distract the dog with a treat if he doesn't stay still and proceed as precisely as possible.
You just can't handle the dog? is he too agitated? take a dress that he already has and that fits him well and take the measurements directly on the dress.
Dog clothing is very varied and available for any breed, coats for boxers, jackets for French bulldogs, jackets for Chihuahuas, down jackets for dachshund dogs, various types of clothes for Chihuahuas.
How to understand the size of your dog?
For dogs there are no standard sizes like for humans, so the sizes S, M or 3 XL change depending on the manufacturer and usually for each dog coat there are size guides that indicate the correspondence between size and measurements your friend's principals.

If there is an exact number on the guide then that number corresponds exactly to the size of the dog clothing you are looking for, but if a range is shown then that is the size range your four-legged friend must fit into.

Payment on delivery is possible for items shipped from our Italian warehouse, which are the majority, see the icon with the red truck at the bottom of the page with the indication 'Shipping from Italy', while it is not possible for those shipped directly from our foreign suppliers (icon with van with 'shipping from abroad' written on it).
